Out of all the interesting entries for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Poland it's interesting that the jury, which included Daniel Libeskind, picked this dreary scheme. Due for completion in 2010, the project by Christian Kerez looks like a concrete factory box. The bottom floors are open to clear pedestrian views and the roof rolls with skylights. This is appropriate for the funeral subject of the museum, but also the building's context. It will be in the center of Warsaw, next to the Culture and Science Palace. The proposal fits well with the Stalinist style buildings around there.
