'You Must Be Punished According To The Laws Of The Olympics'

That's what China told two 79-year old women were told, who were evicted from their homes to make way for Olympic buildings. They had been told that they could apply for a legal protest, but when they got there, like many others, they were simply thrown into China's torture camps. These "re-education through labor" concentration camps had previously been for black immigrants, homosexuals, and political protesters. Without delving into politics myself, I want to make you aware of the dark side of China's shiny new buildings and architectural feats.
