Richard Neutra designed this residence in Silverlake L.A., California in 1960 together with C. J. Bonura. The west facing site on a hill offers great views of the city with pleasant breezes coming through. The stimulating structure contrasts with a natural element of peaceful gardens and outdoor areas that bring a soothing calm throughout the site. The craftsmanship is superb, a relic of the old days. Recently it was restored to its stunning beauty. It's noted as an early example of successful green architecture.
