Massimilliano Fuksas, who also designed the Milan Trade Fair, designed the Distillerie Nardini in this small medieval town in the Veneto. The two glass bubbles imitate the distillery's stills. The are approached by a a bridge over a water element. The bubbles contain a testing laboratory and an entrance hall for the structure below. The addition places itself unobtrusively into the environment.
It connects to outdoor elements like an open auditorium. The brutal concrete buildings contrast the materials of this futuristic design. The building itself achieves zero carbon emissions.
The curved glass takes on a different character inside, such as the bathroom mirrors that have a liquid look created by careful backlighting.
