Taipei Performing Arts Center- OMA, Winning Entry

Here is the winning entry by OMA for the Taipei Performing Arts Centre competition. The scheme starts with a single cube clad in corrugated steel. Transparencies and connections are made for circulation and relating spaces. The backstage rises as a solid core and a grand sphere contains public program, under which the public enters through the lobby.

The project by Rem Koolhaas and OMA is due for completion in 2013.
